Microgarden Bandung is the name of our garden located inside our house. It started during the COVID-19 pandemic when everyone had to stay at home. We began by planting fruit seeds such as avocados, bell peppers, chilies, etc.
Later, we focused on growing strawberries due to their very rapid growth and development. We also started seeding various plants, such as water spinach, pakcoy, chilies, basil, kale, butterfly pea flowers, chia, lotus, gomphrena/globe amaranth, etc.
The garden is focused on organic gardening methods, meaning we do not use synthetic chemical pesticides. We also do not use synthetic chemical fertilizers. We make our own compost and fertilizers using natural ingredients, such as banana peels, tempeh, eggshells, palm sugar, dragon fruit skins, etc.
Due to limited space, we eventually started selling our garden products online on Tokopedia under the store name Microgarden Bandung.
